Peter Abbonizio

Peter Abbonizio is a New York based music and culture enthusiast who offers introductory level lessons on how to make instrumental music.

On a freelance basis, Peter Abbonizio provides a full range of music consulting and education courses.  In each lesson, he draws directly on his decades of experience in producing instrumental music with a combination of traditional instruments and digital MIDI controllers.  Additionally, Abbonizio is also available to assist artists in the process of publishing their music to streaming platforms like Apple Music, SoundCloud and Spotify.

Instrumental Music 

Peter Abbonizio first fell in love with instrumental music after watching the original Peter Pan (1953) animated film.  The way the orchestra added a richness to the emotion and overall storytelling of the film completely amazed a young Abbonizio.  After seeing the screen adaptation, Abbonizio watched a rebroadcast recording of the 1954 Broadway production of Peter Pan.  He enjoyed how musicals reshape and retell stories in more expansive and animated ways.  But most importantly, he continues to be fascinated by how instrumental tracks add a more entertaining layer to even live stage performances.

Digital Music Streaming

Over the years, Peter Abbonizio’s professional prowess in the music industry has gravitated towards digital music streaming.  Specifically, Abbonizio has become an expert in the process of publishing and monetizing music on platforms such as Amazon Music and Apple Music.  He currently offers consulting services that assist artists in self-releasing singles and albums online.  In modern music, releasing music online, without the brandish of a label, has become an integral part of ‘making it big.’  Abbonizio currently offers his services on a freelance basis to musicians and artists located in the New York metropolitan area.
