Prior to launching his career in public safety, Andres Angulo received his Associate of Arts (A.A.) from Arizona Western College, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Northern Arizona University and Master of Arts (M.A.) in Public Administration from Grand Canyon University.
Andres Angulo is currently in pursuit of education in paramedic training. Angulo is a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT). He also maintains certifications in CPR/BLS, as well as qualifications distributed by Arizona Department of Health Services.
Public Safety Leadership
Andres Angulo previously served the City of Yuma Police Department and the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office. Angulo led patrol units in various investigations and specialized operations.
Andres Angulo’s work in investigations included leading efforts within the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force. He also served as an instructor in defensive tactics, tactical driving and public safety operations. As a public safety leader, Angulo excels in all avenues of the high-stakes work — including navigating hostage negotiations, critical incident stress management and public safety driving.
