Marion Threatt established the foundation for his business career at the University of Memphis, where he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Threatt maintains a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Management with a minor concentration in Psychology, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Learning both in and out of the classroom, Marion Threatt’s studies at the University of Memphis were coupled with practical experience earned through various internships in the community, where he learned the ropes of real estate development and construction management.

Global Developer
In 2006, Marion Threatt founded Crest Construction LLC: a construction company focusing on residential, commercial and industrial land development. Threatt later expanded into telecommunications development with the establishment of his second venture: Signal Source LLC and into investment management with his third entrepreneurial pursuit: Focal Point Investments LLC: a certified minority-owned firm specializing in multifamily, commercial, industrial and mixed-use assets.

One of his most notable projects, The Cascades, is a 170-acre mixed-use development in Olive Branch, Mississippi, designed to serve as a live-work-shop destination that supports job creation, business expansion and community engagement.
