John Jaeger is a proud alumnus of Old Westbury Class of 1999. In his undergraduate experience, Jaeger pursued and completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Secondary Education, with an additional STEM focus. Additionally, in 2004, Jaeger obtained his Master of Arts Liberal Studies (M.A.L.S.) degree from Stony Brook University. John Jaeger also maintains a variety of certifications, which have enriched his abilities as a mentor. Along the way, he has had the privilege to directly contribute to a variety of STEM resources. Throughout his career, Jaeger STEM outreach programs that enrich the overall learning experience for mentors and participants. These opportunities have provided Jaeger with immeasurable professional training that continue to strengthen his abilities and skills as a mentor.
Independent Research Projects
Throughout his career as an Independent Researcher, John Jaeger has engaged in various environmental research projects. Notable independent research projects which Jaeger has contributed to include a Symposium on Soil Invertebrates of Pine Barrens and Southern Pine Beetles, the Shellfish Mariculture Program and the Protein Challenge. In each of these projects, Jaeger stood as a Mentor, providing critical guidance throughout the independent STEM research. Additionally, Jaeger has contributed to Independent Research Projects centered around DNA barcoding, aquaculture techniques and molecule research.
