Holiday Exxon is awesome. I used to work with these guys. I am now out of the business, and would not let anyone else touch my car! They know their stuff. They are priced right, and they don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. Honest, knowledgeable and friendly. You will be happy you took your car to them.
I was at Holiday Exxon the other day for an oil change, and I mentioned I was going out of town. Mohamed took a few extra minutes and suggested we do a few small things to make the trip that much safer. Everything worked out great, and I'm really grateful for their diligence and hard work! Love them. Came in w/ an oil leak problem. They were booked up for appointments for 2 days, but gave my car a quick look to see if the problem was serious. They said it was a leak due to a faulty filter and a quick fix. They not only fixed it on the spot, but took the time to explain the problem to me. I have been coming here for about a year and am always happy w/ the service.
My nearly 25-year old car had an oil leak that no one could fix including the dealer. I tried for years without luck. Bought a new home and didn’t want the oil all over the garage floor to be tracked inside. Heard of this place and they fixed the leak! Fair prices, work guaranteed. Very professional. Never disappointed! Scrupulously honest. Moved to Orange and still drive to Charlottesville even for an oil change.

Mohamed is great. I have never trusted a mechanic more than him. He works fast and I have never had a problem with any of his repairs. I appreciate his straight forwardness and his honesty. He really doesn’t seem to want to go for the most expensive fix. He wants to fix what is wrong at a good price in a decent time frame.I have recommended him to all of my Charlottesville friends.
Holiday Exxon has been my go-to shop for over 5 years. In that time they have performed all repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles – two volvos and a explorer. They continue to keep my business because the guys are always knowledgeable, fair and extremely professional. They maintain a small fleet of high-mileage (but dependable) loaner cars at no extra charge if you need one, and all work they do comes with a warranty. The only time I have ever had to use that warranty was due to a faulty replacement part, and it was taken care of immediately with no hassle. This is the place I always recommend to my friends!

I’ve been going to Holiday Exxon for the last couple of years because they are utterly professional, do their utmost to save you time and money, they are extremely fair when it comes to the work they need to do on their car as well as pricing, and have never talked down to me about my car troubles because I am a woman. I have been taking my vehicles to Holiday Exxon and only Holiday Exxon for the past 8 years. I use them for everything from routine maintenance and oil changes, to major repairs and part replacements. They have always been honest and fair with pricing and estimates, and get my vehicle in and out of the shop quickly. Mohamed and Reggie (the store managers) are the very personable and professional, whenever I call they remember exactly who I am, and have always been able to solve the “my car is making a funny noise” mysteries that I come to them with. Took in my car without an appointment and they were able to accommodate me. Did a diagnostic and repaired the problem immediately. There are some things that simply deserve the very best and my car is one of those things. Two thumbs up! after fixing my air conditioning, i mentioned that sometimes water drips down onto the passenger side foot area from the dash. The mechanic brought the car back into the shop right then and there, put it up on the hoist, and fixed the clogged up hose that was causing the condensation to drip down. I was happy to service my vehicle at Holiday Exxon.

Being female and not that knowledgeable about cars, I’m always a bit nervous about mechanics. I started going to Holiday Exxon because I bought a house nearby. I’ve since moved and still take my car there. They are exceptionally honest and have a great reputation in South Minneapolis. I have an older model car (1994 Toyota Camry) and they’ve kept it running very well for me for over 11 years — it runs so well that I’m not ready to replace it yet. I’ve had many different things on the car repaired that have worn out due to age, and their prices have always been very reasonable, and they always call with an estimate — no surprise charges! When I check their repair prices out with car-savvy friends they always say “that’s a good price for that”. I trust them to do the work well and charge me fairly and would recommend Holiday Exxon to anyone!
I had been experiencing some tune-up issues for several weeks. After failing to be able to correct the issues on my own, I called up Holiday Exxon and they had my car in the shop and repaired within 24 hours. Excellent! If you need an honest and trustworthy place, fast repair, and excellent service, then go to Holiday Exxon service Center. They explain everything to you, prioritize with respect to budget and they are really decent people who KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. If you have no experience with cars, you can go there and just follow them blindly. You won’t get tricked or lied to. And you won’t end up regretting your visit. Both of our cars were handled amazingly well every single time. and we felt the fix was good.

When I first visited his fine establishment, it was on a friend’s recommendation and I needed my starter replaced. Sure the price was great, but most importantly, him and his staff are the most personable, honest, and accommodating people that I have had the pleasure to deal with. I always recommend him to my all my friends whenever they have an auto issue. I recently brought my car into Holiday Exxon Service Center and I can not stress enough how great my experience was there. Everything from the customer service, turnaround time, and pricing exceeded my expectations. I dropped my car off on a Thursday morning and it was ready by Friday evening, for what i was having done, I was very grateful with how quick it was fixed and ready to get back on the road. The best auto repair experience I’ve ever had by far!!! They’re my first recommendation for customers in the Charlottesville area. They have a complimentary shuttle service to get you to and from work and home. Extremely knowledgeable and the friendliest guys in the repair business I’ve met yet.
My family has been having cars serviced and tires repaired/replaced by Holiday Exxon Service Center for many years. They provide honest, reliable and friendly service. They are always honest about what really needs to be fixed and what can wait. They have great tire prices and always give me a couple of options on tires so I decide what I want to spend. They provide rides when I need one. You just don’t find the type of honesty and customer service that these people provide every where. I can’t recommend them enough.
Would like to extend a warm thank you to Mohamed and His team at holiday exxon. They were very easy to work with, and they let my vehicle sit in their lot until I was able to pay them the money owed to fix my fuel pump. My vehicle drives great, and they even put the preexisting gasoline back in my tank. They gave me a very, very reasonable price, and they worked with me in honor of all of our verbal agreements. If you have any vehicle problems, and you are concerned as to who you might trust, take your vehicle to these guys! They are great, and they are up front and honest in their business negotiations!
I went here to get a pre-purchase car inspection.The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The check was really thorough and they gave a really detailed description of the parts that require immediate attention. Holiday Exxon mechanic explained everything is detail as well. I was impressed by how efficient they were. I strongly recommend them to anyone who wants to get their vehicles checked.

Fantastic service Station. A year after replacing our radiator, we took our car back in for maintenance. Holiday Exxon noticed the new radiator already had issues and replaced it without hesitation. We’ve never had a moment of doubt in their service recommendations or billing.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised by the service I received here that I felt the need to share. I was referred to Holiday Exxon by a coworker for my Virginia state inspection. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and seemed genuinely concerned about providing good customer service. They were upfront with the pricing. They performed the repairs I needed. You just don’t encounter such concern and honesty at a mechanic shop.

Mechanics at Holiday Exxon always suggest the least expensive alternative. They get my car done on time . No surprises, which is a good thing. We were having problems with our honda’s auto transmission. Mechanics at Holiday Exxon were excellent. They took took their time to understand what I was experiencing with my trensmission, explained what was required to identify the cause. I have a Honda Accord, and I was not sure where to take my vehicle for good service in Charlottesville. A friend of mine recommended this place, and I am so happy I went! The shop owner is so honest and really knows his cars. I went there thinking I needed a very expensive job done, and I was told I didn’t need any work on my car! It is rare to find an auto place that is this honest. I will definitely come back.
