Hanna Rhee is a Humanitarian actively engaged in international relief work. As Founder and Director of Global Angel Outreach, Rhee leads outreach efforts in Muslim refugee communities around the world. At home, she works as an Intake Specialist at Bio-Genetics and as a Volunteer Tutor with Tampa Muslim Outreach.

Education
Hanna Rhee is an academically accomplished individual. She maintains a solid background in science and healthcare. Rhee’s academic training includes:
- Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine,
- Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of South Florida
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of South Florida College of Medicine
Research & Clinical Training
During Hanna Rhee’s studies, she completed a psychiatry residency and research in the University of California, San Diego’s Department of Anesthesiology. Rhee’s research focused on the psychobiological mechanisms of pain as experienced in the human body. For her accomplishments in biomedical research, Rhee received the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Individual Predoctoral Fellowship in Neurosciences.
Global Angel Outreach
Hanna Rhee is the Founder and Director of Global Angel Outreach. An American nonprofit organization with an international focus, Global Angel Outreach provides humanitarian outreach and refugee support worldwide. Since its establishment, Global Angel Outreach has sent volunteers on international missions in Switzerland, Pakistan and Türkiye — all with the goal of offering support and assistance to vulnerable individuals and displaced families in Muslim communities.
Faith-Based Service
Hanna Rhee’s humanitarian efforts are not exclusive to foreign lands. At home in the United States, Rhee continues to support Muslim communities and refugees through community outreach. She volunteers at Tampa Muslim Outreach as a Tutor and she is also a member of the Islamic Society of Tampa Bay.
