Dr. Zeba Shakir is a board certified pediatrician at Homewood Pediatric Associates in Flossmoor, Illinois. She has over 20 years of experience in the field. In 1991, Zeba Shakir graduated with honors from one of the top medical schools in Karachi, Pakistan, Dow Medical College. In 1996, she went on to complete her Pediatric Residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago where she went through intense training as a pediatric specialist learning how to treat patients in pediatric ICU as well as neonatal ICU.
After completing her rigorous educational training, Dr. Zeba Shakir began practicing pediatric medicine in the south suburbs of Chicago. Volunteering at the Family Health Society, Dr. Shakir provided care to the needy and underinsured population. The Family Health Society later recognized Dr. Zeba Shakir with an award to honor her kind and great service.

Dr. Shakir is my son's pediatrician. She is so wonderful she loves all the kids that come to her clinic. Parents don't care how long the wait because at the end of the visit the kids get the best of care.
We have been here more than 5 years. I am very happy with the way she treats us. She is also very caring with her patients. She is the best doctor my children have had.
