Young also championed landmark zoning reforms to protect parks, schools and neighborhoods from overdevelopment, and launched the Department of Strategy & Innovation to strengthen accountability and smarter city planning. Under his leadership, Orem was recognized as the #1 Small Metro for Business in the U.S.
