Having many cats in the area, we were concerned about having a pesticide sprayed to get rid of the mosquitoes, however the owner John used an organic, all natural spray that helped almost completely eliminate them from the yard. We will absolutely be using his services again in the future.
I was looking for lawn care on line and came across this company. After reading the reviews, I decided to give them a call. The owner, John, sounded very knowledgeable over the phone and willing to add me to his schedule, even though, the busy season was upon us. I am beyond satisfied with the work. The guys who worked on my house are nice, professional and meticulous. Can’t ask for more!

Very reliable and prices are affordable. The employees are knowledgeable and always courteous which is much appreciated.
In April of 2020, I asked John, the owner, if he had room to add a lawn to their lawn mowing schedule and, if so could they remove a small pile of leaves at the first cut. John surveyed the property and agreed to a price, including an extra $10 for the leaves. After three cuts, mowing around the leaves next to the backyard pool, I removed them myself. No big deal, only ten bucks. Jump to Thursday, October 8th, I called John and asked if we could schedule a season end cleanup. I mentioned the original leaves, and I wanted to be sure they knew I wanted to remove a stack of sticks on the driveway. John said that as to the original leaves, he “removed 6 or 7 buckets” of leaves from around the air conditioning unit, which should have me cost $150 to do. I said, I didn’t realize there were leaves around the air conditioner, for I was concerned with the few around the pool. Yet, I reminded him that he agreed to the price after looking at the property, and he could have quoted whatever he wanted to. Presently I wasn’t concerned about the price or complaining about the job. I was now merely trying to be very clear, requesting additional service, and asking John to quote a fee. I wanted to make sure that someone would remove the bundled sticks. He seemed agitated, and I asked if he was having a bad day. He assured me he was OK. He said they usually don’t do season end cleanups this early. I was like – OK, you can schedule it anytime you like, but if it doesn’t fit your schedule, let me know, and I’ll get someone else to do it. I just wanted to give him the additional business, no big deal.
John mentioned that he has expensive mowing equipment and doesn’t want to run over sticks in the grass. I tried to explain there is only one tree on the property, and the sticks in the driveway were ones I had picked up from the lawn over the summer. Still, he continued to tell me – and I don’t know why – that he cuts over 150 yards a week, and there are only three homes that he cuts every other week and that my mom’s house (and I quote) “is a f**king $#!t hole.” Yes, you read that correct, John’s actual words. Stunned, at this point, as he continued his diatribe, I stopped listening and hung up. To say I was offended would be an understatement.
Background: this is the house I grew up in and where my 89-year-old mom still lives, with new siding, windows, roof, central air, nice driveway, and a new liner (as of last week) rebuilt in-ground pool.
The next day I expected an apology call or something, yet instead, Bohonyi Landscaping sent me a bill and marked it as their FINAL INVOICE. So, not only was John insulting, but he also left my mom without lawn service for the rest of the season.
