Berkley Badger is an avid outdoorsman and bass fishing enthusiast located in the Bonita Springs area. Sharing his Florida fishing adventures with the world, Badger enjoys trying out a unique variety of lures and tackle.
Crankbait Fishing
When it comes to fishing tackle, Berkley Badger prefers non-live bait. He finds that this is a much easier approach than live bait, because it allows him to take his tackle anywhere at any time and in any environment. Badger is a particularly big crankbait fishing enthusiast. Crankbait fishing relies on moveable lures that can be controlled by the fisherman. He finds that these are particularly effective when diving deep into the water is necessary for a catch. Unlike your average lure which might just float at the top of the water, crankbait can be controlled to move in different directions and dive deeper than the surface. Somewhat calculated in physics, this approach requires a more technical approach than casting a line out aimlessly. Badger finds that this up’s the challenge of it all, making for a unique experience that is different every time!
Bassmaster Fishing Tournaments
A fisherman all of his life, Berkley Badger has participated in a wide variety of fishing tournaments over the years. By far, his favorite events are Bassmaster competitions! Primarily focusing on catching largemouth bass, Badger prefers to compete at events that focus on reeling in fish within the bass family. Eager to make his mark on the angler world, the Berkley dreams of one day competing with Elite Bassmaster pros, like Drew Cook, Brandon Lester and many other outdoor enthusiasts who’ve made the cut! In his training to compete, Badger is putting his skills to the ultimate test by challenging unique environments and extreme weather conditions.
