Anthony James Paulsey is a Personal Trainer and former baseball player. Taking a page from his own playbook, Paulsey crafts personal training and health & wellness programs tailored to meet the needs of an athlete.
Baseball Player & Sports Fan
All throughout his childhood, Anthony James Paulsey played every sport available to him. When his friends were outside shooting hoops in the cul-de-sac, so was he. When his school held soccer try-outs, he gave it a whirl and made the team! And when he was old enough to hold a baseball bat… well, that’s when everything truly changed! Baseball was the first sport that Paulsey truly fell in love with. All these years later, that passion and love of the game has not changed one bit. If anything, it has only continued to grow into a passion that is equal parts personal and professional. In college, Paulsey played baseball for his North California school’s team and even considered pushing to go pro before he realized another great passion in his life: personal training. Now he blends those two passions together to create his own world of sports-centric workouts and nutrition plans.
Sports-focused Personal Training
Most of Anthony James Paulsey’s personal training clients are athletes. Although Paulsey is excited to offer workout routines and nutrition plans that are tailored to meet the needs of athletes specifically, each regimen is available to all of his clients — athlete or not! Baseball players in particular have come to appreciate Paulsey’s unique approaches to training, which often include scrimmage games. In the future, the personal trainer hopes to even offer his own baseball clinic, which will have an even more sports-centric focus than his currently available regimens. Paulsey strongly believes that personal training should be equal parts diet related and physical training focused. He is happy to offer nutrition plans that meet the specific needs of his clients, whether they are looking to increase strength, lose weight, gain muscle or a combination of all three.
