Steven Mesia

Steven Mesia is the Owner and President of Genesis Pathways, LLC. Operating since 2006, Genesis Pathways is a company specializing in the food industry.

Steven Mesia and his employees are national experts in recall recovery and quality systems management.

Education

In 1987, Steven Mesia received his Bachelor’s degree in Organic Chemistry and Microbiology from Bemidji State University in Minnesota.  Studying at a campus located along the shore of Lake Bemidji presented Steven Mesia with one of his life’s greatest passions: sailing. In his spare time, he thoroughly enjoys taking on sailboat restoration challenges.  Peeling back layers of grime and buildup to reveal the beauty of a boat is one of his favorite past times. During his time at Bemidji State University, Steven Mesia also developed a fondness for the great outdoors. Being surrounded by the lush, green wooded campus of Bemidji introduced Steven Mesia to the wonders of hiking and outdoor exploration.

Genesis Pathways, LLC

After gaining years of experience in the food industry, Steven Mesia decided to establish his own company:  Genesis Pathways, LLC, a subset of Happy Family Brands (also known as Nurture, Inc). Genesis Pathways is a leader in the food industry which specializes in recall recovery and quality systems management.  Steven Mesia decided to develop the corporation in 2006 after maintaining a successful career spanning across decades in the field. Together with his team of employees, Steven Mesia ensures that food industry services take appropriate measures when dealing with recalls on food products and items.  

Additionally, Steven Mesia is an independent food industry consultant.  He lends his expertise to companies offering food and beverage products and services.  Both as the President of Genesis Pathways and as an independent consultant, Steven Mesia is an expert in quality assurance.  His years of experience in the field have provided him with a specialized lens through which he properly inspects prospective food and beverage products.  Ensuring that only the highest quality products are delivered to consumers is the main focal point of his work. He maintains a sense of personal responsibility in providing the public with safe and top quality products.
